Lawrence E. Will Museum: A Museum of the Glades
The Glades Region is home to the Lawrence E. Will Museum: A Museum of the Glades. Its mission is to conserve, display, and organize, for educational and research goals, the artifacts, memorabilia, photographs, and written records pertinent to this unique region adjacent to Lake Okeechobee and the upper Everglades, and the significance of the Will family in settling the Glades and preserving its early history.

Glades Festival of Afro Arts
Presented by the City of Belle Glade and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., this annual family festival is held on the third Saturday in March and includes music, food, arts & crafts, and community performances.

Black Gold Jubilee Festival
This highly anticipated annual festival celebrates the area’s rich “Black Gold” soil for its ability to produce bountiful harvests year after year. The Jubilee has grown to draw several thousand attendees each year since its inception in 1978. Expect a full day of fun including: a 5K walk/run and 10K run, a parade on Main Street, food, children’s rides and activities, vendors, entertainment, and evening fireworks.
